Hi! My name is Michelle Nave, and I am the building substitute for SSA. My position entails covering teachers, the library, paraprofessionals, and the office. When I am not substituting, I work with individual students to improve their math and reading skills. I have a Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Organization Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University.

I enjoy spending time at my cabin with my husband and cats, fishing, boating, trail-riding, and gardening, but most of all, my favorite pastime is spending any amount of time in nature.

I have been a substitute teacher for five years, covering Bay and Arenac County. I found State Street Academy to have the best students, staff, and families. Therefore, I chose SSA as my home and have been here since Sept. 2020. Thank you for letting me be a part of their education.
